Everything’s Big In Texas (Dallas, TX) – The 5th annual Big Texas Beer Fest returns to the Texas Fairgrounds this weekend – so you’ve been warned. This year’s beerganza has been expanded to two-days (April 1st -2nd) so you’ll have more time to finish off the 500+ beers provided by 120 of the region’s most exciting breweries. Yes, there will be plenty of food and entertainment – but most importantly THERE WILL BE BEER.
On The Big Screen – Director Richard Linklater is debuting the long awaited sequel to his Austin stoner classic Dazed and Confused, this weekend and needless to say, we’re all in! Set on a college campus during the Reagan era, Everybody Wants Some follows a group of college baseball players, led by Blake Jenner, Tyler Hoechlin, and Ryan Guzman among others, as they navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood.
Brew Woo (Worcester, MA) – The 2016 Brew Woo Festival will be making its way back to the DCU in Worcester this Saturday, April 2nd. This year’s two-session throwdown, will feature 90 of New England’s cutting edge breweries – and they’re all going to be serving up their best! Yes, there will be plenty of food and entertainment – but most importantly THERE WILL BE BEER.
TV Time – If you’d rather just cocoon at home this weekend and you’ve not yet caught up on the third season of Netflix’s dark political soap opera, House of Cards – now’s the time. This season joins Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) who having schemed (and murdered) his way successfully into the White House finds himself besieged by enemies on all fronts. Plus his wife, Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) has started sleeping with a younger man – and that can’t help but complicate things.
Arizona Calling (Mesa, AZ) – The 28th annual Great Arizona Beer Festival will be returning to Sloan Park in Mesa on Saturday night – and you don’t want to miss it. This year’s fest will feature some 200+ selections from the region’s most “talked about” 
breweries – so that should keep you busy. And yes, there will be plenty of food and entertainment – but most importantly THERE WILL BE BEER.
Our Awesome Weekend Beer Pick
This weekend we’re going BIG and were hitting something from The Bruery that we’ve been sitting on for a while. So Happens It’s Tuesday is a massive (14% ABV) rich and malty Imperial Stout that’s been recklessly aged in Bourbon barrels and unleashed upon the innocent.
