, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForA Monk Returns – Founders will be releasing the twelfth installment in the brewery’s boundary-pushing Backstage Series in March 2015 – so you’ve months to get ready for it. Originally released in 2011, Founders Blushing Monk is a 9.2% ABV Belgian Style Ale that’s brewed with a ridiculous amount of raspberries and has a surprising kick.

 

Oskar Blues Throws Back (Longmont, CO / Brevard, NC) – Oskar Blues Brewery recently introduced a new year-round addition to their portfolio that has already launched in Colorado and North Carolina and will eventually be making its way across their national distribution network. Dry-hopped with several different heady hops (including an experimental variety), PINNER Throwback IPA is a 4.9% ABV India Pale with hints of pine and a smooth malt backbone.

Victory Hops To It! (Downingtown, PA) – Victory Brewing has just returned a popular seasonal and we’re pretty damned excited that they have. Victory Hop Ranch Imperial India Pale Ale is a 9.5% ABV pungent and floral hop bomb that’s a homage to the American hop farmer and the advancements they added to the industry. Hop Ranch is available now until February on draft and in 12 oz. bottles – so you know what to do.

Cult Favorite (Escondido, CA) – That’s what this Stone Porter variant is.Stone Smoked Porter with Vanilla Bean is a 5.9% ABV take on their classic Smoked Porter that melds savory peatiness and smoke with freshly split Madagascar vanilla beans and chocolate and flavors.

 

Starr Hill Gives More Access (Charlottesville, VA) – Starr Hill will be expanding their limited-release All Access Series to 4-packs in 2015. Returning first in January, Little Red RooStarr Coffee Cream Stout is a rich 5.8% ABV Milk Stout brewed with local coffee from Red Rooster Coffee Roasters of Floyd, VA. Every 3 months, the series will feature another one of the diverse and award-winning beers from the Starr Hill series.
