Considered the strongest ale offered by breweries, our English Barleywine highlights a malty richness which is balanced with subdued esters of prune, raisin, and date characteristics. The intense malty caramel-like aroma entangles perfection with our noble hop selection. This full bodied beer is fairly high on alcohol; however its presence is overcome by the multi-layered complexity of our selection of malts. Oak aged versions will yield more depth of character with a slight hint of vanilla obtained during the aging process.
