The Vermont Brewers Association has organized a drive-thru Vermont beer event “encouraging Vermonters to take a drive, explore Vermont and support Vermont brewers by popping the trunk of your car and filling it with VT beer.”

The “Drive Thru ExBEERrience” takes place on June 13 and with much of the nation beginning to enter the real world again, it’s the perfect time for a road trip…

Participating breweries include 14th Star Brewing, St. Albans; Brocklebank Craft Brewing, Tunbridge; Green Empire Brewing, Colchester; Hermit Thrush Brewery, Brattleboro; Idletyme Brewing, Stowe; Lawson’s Finest Liquids, Waitsfield; Trout River Brewing, Springfield; and Zero Gravity Craft Brewing, Burlington.

There’s a narrow window for picking up the beer, 2-4pm Saturday, and that beer needs to be purchased HERE in advance for pickup at the Waterbury Flea Market in Waterbury, Vermont.

Shopping options include a “mystery” four-pack with proceeds to benefit the Vermont Brewers Association, which has seen two major fundraising festivals canceled this year. Its Bear Mountain at Killington Resort Festival planned to take place on March 21st was the first to be cancelled and the Burlington’s Vermont Brewers Festival usually held in July, but the latest to fall.
