New Rock Band Beers And India Pale Ales

August will soon be a memory and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with interesting beer offerings you’re gonna want to have around.

Deftly Toned (San Diego, CA) – Belching Beaver Brewery has released the latest collaboration in its long-running partnership with Deftones, the legendary SoCal alternative metal band. Named after a favorite track on the band’s latest album, Ohms, Belching Beaver / Deftones Ceremony Hazy IPA is an approachable 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale that pushes the limits of a dry-hopping regiment- doubling down on the juicy and tropical hop varietals.

“Ceremony has a nice mélange of tropical fruit notes like mango, pineapple, and guava,” said Rick Blankemeier Quality Assurance Manager at Belching Beaver Brewery.  “It also has a touch of strawberry and grapefruit in there.” “The mouthfeel is pillowy soft and has a rich body that fades away nicely on the palate.”

All Day Haze (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has announced the latest in its All Day IPA line, a series of beers that reimagine the brewery’s bestselling session IPA. True to its heritage, Founders All Day Haze is a sessionable 4.9% ABV Hazy IPA with an aromatic cocktail of orange, pineapple, and peach with subtle pine and floral notes.

“I’m really happy with how this hazy turned out,” said Founders Brewmaster, Jeremy Kosmicki. “It took a combination of everything we’ve learned about brewing session beers over the years, plus some newfound knowledge regarding brewing hazies to create this amazingly hoppy and supremely drinkable version of the style.”

High Haze (Columbus, OH) – BrewDog USA is continuing to do very cool things. Like its flagship New England IPA, uniquely brewed in Ohio, that’s currently also available as part of its Summer Mixed Pack. Crafted with oats and wheat and agrressivly dry-hopped for a full-tilt fruit blast, BrewDog Hazy Jane is a 7.2% ABV juice-bomb that is hopped out of its mind, low on bitterness and high on haze.
