2020 is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the season with a variety of ambitious new offerings that are fun and cold weather-ready.
Two Crux Newbies For 2020 (Bend, OR) – The Crux Fermentation Project, one of our favorite breweries in the Pacific Northwest, is kicking of the New Year with two new releases…
Crux All Worked Up is a balanced and well-rounded 12.5% ABV American Wheatwine that was aged in Chardonnay barrel for over six months.
Crux IPA is a 5.8% ABV ‘Everyday’ India Pale Ale with an uber-dank dosing of CTZ hops and a touch of Galaxy, Mosaic, and Comet for a citrusy juice-bomb finish.
Bright, Crisp And Local (Dallas, TX) – Deep Ellum Brewing has announced a new addition to its year-round portfolio that will be replacing the brewery’s Deep Ellum Lager. Brewed as a homage to its hometown Dallas, Deep Ellum DTX Golden Ale is a 4.8% ABV refresher that melds unique pilsner malt with delicate hop character.
Citra Powered (Williamsburg, VA) – The Virginia Beer Co. is returning favorite that has been dormant since 2007. Available this time around on draft and in large format cans, Virginia Beer Fresh Powder is an 8% ABV 100% Citra Double India Pale Ale brewed with concentrated Citra Lupulin Powder.
Deschutes’ Riffs (Bend, OR) – The Deschutes Brewery has partnered Riff Cold Brewed on a new eye-opening limited release. Deschutes Luna Jo Cold Brew Coffee Lager a 5% ABV Mexican style Lager with vibrant coffee aromas and flavors of Riff’s Off The Cuff cold-brewed coffee. For both local Bend companies, Luna Jo represents more than a beer, it’s about coming together on projects because they’re different, fun and good for building community…It’s about getting creative collectively and building relationships.
A Giant Returns (Nampa, ID) – Mother Earth Brewing Company is returning a giant just in time for Treefort, Idaho’s largest music fest. Loaded with hops, yet light on the palate, Mother Earth Timber Giant is a 5% ABV Pale Ale that made its debut in 2019 during the Treefort Music Fest held in downtown Boise, Idaho.
