Asheville North Carolina’s Hi-Wire Brewing is looking to the fall and they’ve announced four autumn releases that got us excited. And here’s some of what they’ve got coming down the pike.
Zirkusfest Oktoberfest
Hi-wire will be opening autumn early this August with a non-traditional take on a European tradition that took home the Gold Medal at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival.
Pumped with rich Munich malt and loaded with honey and biscuity tones Hi-Wire’s Zirkusfest Oktoberfest is a 6% ABV Oktoberfest lager that drinks smooth and finishes dry.
Southern Hemisphere IPA
In August Hi-Wire is also debuting has a new fall seasonal that is deftly fueled on an exclusive medley of hops New Zealand and Australia.
Southern Hemisphere IPA is a new take on the India Pale Ale, a 7% ABV celebration of exotic hop tones with a balanced bitterness that never overstays its welcome.
Lion Tamer Rye IPA
Hi-Wire looks to a more rustic grain to temper this seasonal IPA, which is making its autumn return for the fifth year in a row.
Ruby red in color and rich with citrusy fruit flavors, Hi-Wire Lion Tamer Rye IPA is a BIG 7% ABV fall India Pale Ale with a spicy rye bite at the back end.
Apricot Sour Ale
And last but certainly not least, Hi-Wire has a new sour coming out on August 5th that we can’t wait to get our hands on.
Hi-Wire Apricot Sour Ale is an 8.5% exercise in sweet tartness that was oak-aged to perfection in specially curated and richly seasoned red wine barrels.
