Miller Lite’s annual holiday merch release is always fun. It’s also a way to showcase Miller Lite at a time of year when liquor sales rise, often to the detriment of beer.
And this year, Miller Lite is looking to ring in the season with the return of its popular Beernaments.
Last year’s Beernaments were an uber- hot ticket, with each batch of the limited-edition drinkable ornaments selling out almost immediately upon release. To make sure that that doesn’t happen again the Miller Lite has bumped up its inventory and increased the branded ornaments’ capacity to fit 12-ounce standard can,
“Beernaments really resonated with people because they’re fun and simple,” Sarah Showak, associate marketing manager for Miller Lite told Beer & Beyond. “Decorating a tree with your friends or family is really the epitome of Miller Time, and Beernaments are front and center on the tree.”
Miller Lite is no stranger to drinkware innovations.
In 2020, they introduced Cantenna a special Miller Lite can affixed with a digital antenna that will stream the NFL for free. And in 2021 they showcased The Shoezie a shoe-meets-koozie” product that coincided with Father’ Day.
Beernaments are the popular beer’s latest effort to encourage legal-age drinkers to “give the gift of Miller Time” this holiday season, (especially younger drinkers) alongside a new collection of holiday knitwear, and refreshed winter packaging.
“Miller Lite has always celebrated the holidays in its own special way, and this year is no different,” Showak added. “Whether celebrating with friends at a bar or decorating at home, the holidays are truly Miller Time.”
Six-packs of these specially branded Christmas tree ornaments can be purchased online for $35.50. A new batch will be released each week through Dec. 6.
