This week, we’ve been showcasing the best beer ads that you’ll be seeing at Super Bowl LIX. And Stella Artois’ latest is a star-studded good time.

On February 4, Anheuser-Busch announced its newest Super Bowl LIX commercial which is part of a year-long campaign which underscores real life moments made special with the right beer, Stella Artois…
“David and Dave” is a fun spot spot starring Stella Artois’ global ambassador and soccer god, David Beckham, and one of our favorite actors Matt Damon as David Beckham’s long-lost brother
The new Stella ad features Beckham’s “parents” informing him that he has a twin brother. A shocked soccer superstar travels to the US to meet up with his long-lost “bro,” sharing some beers and wings as the pair catches up.
“I’ve been partnering with Stella Artois for a decade now and get more excited with each year,” Damon said in a press release. “I can’t wait to keep telling the story of ‘David and Dave’ all year and shedding light on those moments in life worth more, where meaningful connection means more than anything. The Beckham brothers are here to stay, and Stella Artois will be there with us at every moment.”
“For Moments Worth More” was developed in partnership with Artists Equity Advertising, a division of the artist-led studio behind one of last year’s top-performing Super Bowl commercials.
It will be the first Super Bowl ad in six years for Stella Artois, and the beer brand has plans for several more ads starring Beckham and Damon as the twin brothers throughout 2025.
“This year’s ‘For Moments Worth More’ campaign celebrates those everyday moments made a little more special with Stella Artois,” said Anheuser-Busch’s Premium Vice President Chris Jones. “Working with two of the most genuine and committed partners puts Stella Artois at the heart of the cultural conversation.
