BrewDog took to their blog to announce that they will be opening a bar with its own micro-brewery in a neo-gothic development in downtown London. One thing’s for sure, the city’s financial district will never be the same.
BrewDog currently runs 30 bars throughout the United Kingdom. And although the Scottish-based brewer already has six venues in London, we’ve yet to see anything as ambitious as this planned development.
Housed on the ground floor of the City of London’s Minister building BrewDog’s future 8,500 square foot location will be among the brewing company’s biggest bars in the world…second only to its US taproom at its Columbus, Ohio.
Able to accommodate up to 400 brew-punks, BrewDog’s new crown jewel in their brewing empire will include a 10 hectoliter brewing facility and allow them to brew their own roster of small batch and seasonal beers.
