On March, 30, the country’s leading brewer and American manufacturer Anheuser-Busch announced a $50 million investment at its iconic St. Louis brewery.
The investment in the St. Louis brewery is part of a larger $1 billion investment spanning 26 states that is expanding Anheuser-Busch’s US operations, stimulating economies in communities across the country, and enabling sustainable innovations.
“St. Louis is our hometown and plays a critical role in enabling our innovations and producing the highest-quality products for our consumers to enjoy,” said Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch “This isn’t just an investment in our facilities, it’s an investment in our hometown community.”
Anheuser-Busch owns and operates more than 120 facilities around the country and employs more than 19,000 people. Construction to upgrade the St. Louis brewery is currently underway and completion of the new building is expected to be in Spring 2022.

Anheuser-Busch’s St. Louis brewery upgrade is in addition to the to the company’s ambitious $100 million renovation of EverGrain’s new US headquarters , which is near completion at the St. Louis campus.
EverGrain is a sustainable ingredient company backed by AB InBev that is revolutionizing the use of high-quality grains that are used to brew beer to deliver nutritious and great tasting barley-based ingredients that can be used in a variety of food and beverage products.
Anheuser-Busch sources 98% of its ingredients from US farmers, and EverGrain will leverage the company’s multi-generational relationships with many of its growers to deliver its transformative barley products at scale.
