April is just flying by and American craft brewers are welcoming the warmer weather with a fun roster of new beers that you’re gonna want to have around.
Sweet Stuff (Denver, CO) – Lone Tree Brewing was the first brewery to open in Lone Tree, Colorado in Denver’s South Metro area in 2011, and has remained a local staple for more than a decade. And they’ve a new spring seasonal that’s brewed using local honey.
Crafted with Cascade and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hops that balance this new seasonal’s sweeter side, Lone Tree Honey Lager is a 4.*% ABV refresher with late addition of Jasmine rice and Colorado honey that soften its mouthfeel.
“This beer signals a fresh start to the spring season for us,” says Lone Tree Director of Brewhouse Operations Jerry Siote. “It’s a delicate dance when incorporating the local honey at the right stage of fermentation to get a finished product that’s not overly sweet, but still carries the essential aroma and flavor qualities of the honey itself. The Jasmine rice comprises more than 30% of the overall grain bill, and lends a very soft, vanilla-like profile that increases drinkability of the beer.”
Honey Lager will be available on draft at Lone Tree Brewing’s tasting rooms in Lone Tree and Parker, as well as packaged in cans and kegs for the Colorado and Kansas markets

“Peroni 0.0% was brewed with an innovative dealcoholization process to deliver the superior taste that customers expect from Peroni Nastro Azzurro,” Cara Lauritzen, senior marketing manager for Peroni said. ‘Some 90% of consumers we tested agreed it matches our full-alc beer better than competitors.”
