From the nation’s coolest beer festivals to scary movies, spooky events, and cutting-edge TV – we’ve got your back big-time. Plus we’ve a special Halloween beer pick for you too because we know that you’ll be hitting the parties this weekend.

So welcome to our Haunted Weekend Picks…

, The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – October 31, 2014Airways Sky Hag Halloween Alert! (Kent, WA) – One of our favorite brewery events is going on tonight (Oct. 31), and if you’re up in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll want to join our friends at Airways Brewing for their 4th annual Halloween Party. It’s all taking place at Airway’s Brewery & Tap Room from 3-10 pm and you need to be there. One of the highlights of this unique Halloween celebration is their Sky Hag Costume Contest where Sky Hag lookalikes can compete for all kinds of prizes in the annual frightful pageant. They’ll also be serving up an array of rare and special brewed exotics – and you don’t want to miss that.

On The Big Screen (Halloween Edition) – What better way to kick off an All-Halloween weekend than by catching a horror flick? And we’ve more than a few frightening suggestions for you. Horns comes from a book that was written by Stephen King’s son and stars Daniel Radcliff (Harry Potter) as a young man recovering from his girlfriend’s mysterious death who wakens to strange horns sprouting from his temples! Or if that’s not creepy enough for you, you might want to check out The ABCs of Death II – an , The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – October 31, 2014anthologythat showcases death in all its vicious wonder and brutal beauty. But if you’re in the mood for something more sadistic, there’s always the original Saw, which has been reissued especially for Halloween. There’s also Ouija, which we covered last week and Dracula Untold, which opened a couple of weeks back but might still be out there.

Colorado Calling (Colorado Springs, CO) – The 2014 All Colorado Beer Festival returns to the Freedom Financial Services Expo Center in downtown Colorado Springs this weekend – and this one’s a good one! This year’s one-day (Nov. 1), two-session beerganza will feature beer from more than 70 breweries, so you don’t want to miss that. TV Time(Halloween Edition) – If you’ve decided to stay close to home to ensure that neighborhood “trick-or-treaters” don’t trash your house, there are plenty of bloodcurdling things on TV now that you can tap into. As we mentioned last week, AMC’s brilliant zombie-fest The Walking Dead has returned for its fifth season and American Horror , The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – October 31, 2014Story: Freak Show is back for another run on the FX network.

Special Halloween Weekend Beer Pick

Zombie Dust / Three Floyds Brewing Company (Munster, IN) – Hey we get that this is a year-round beer but we think it more than meets our Halloween criteria (great name, awesome taste, & spooky label). Hopped dangerously out of its mind, Three Floyd’s Zombie Dust is a 6.4% ABV American Pale Ale that’s scary good!
