This evening at Sweetwater Brewing, Atlanta's largest and most popular regional brewery, Atlanta Beer Festivals promises a "spookingly" rocking good time at their 3rd Annual Boos and Brews.  In addition to live music, a souvenir glass, and a costume contest, folks will be able to start their weekend off proper-like with Sweetwater's award winning offerings. The music lineup includes Ocean Street on the patio stage and the Kevin Lewis Duo upstairs.

Our Pre-Halloween Movie Pick is the sequel to the murky and disturbing Silent Hill which came out back in 2006. The original wasn’t brilliant but it did have a look and its memorable sequences made it a worldwide hit. (A creature called Pyramid Head was terrifying and the climatic barbed-wire bloodfest scene was worth the wait….. but nothing could top Laurie Holden as a lady cop in leather.) Silent Hill: Revelation 3D promises more of the same and also stars Sean Bean, who we like, Carrie-Anne Moss, who we love, and Malcolm McDowell at his over-the-top best.

The Michigan Brewers Guild presents the fourth annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival, today and tomorrow (Oct 26th-27th) in the city’s Eastern Market, one of America’s oldest farmers markets. There will be music and food, but most importantly…THERE WILL BE BEER- For more info on this event check out: Detroit Fall Beer Festival
