So welcome to our awesome Weekend Picks…

Drink Motor City (Detroit, MI) – Join the Michigan Brewers Guild at Eastern Market this weekend when the 6th Annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival returns to Motor City. Attendees can enjoy two days (Oct 24-25) of incredible food from Detroit’s hottest restaurants and drink more than 600 craft beers provided by 75 of Michigan’s most cutting-edge breweries. On The Big Screen – With Halloween just around the corner, Hollywood has begun releasing a slew of supernatural horror movies that pattern themselves after profitable successes like Insidious and The Conjuring – and this weekend’s occult offering is hoping to capitalize on that fan base. Ouija stars an Ouija board as itself, and tells the hardly original story of a group of friends who must face their most terrifying fears after awakening the dark powers of an ancient spirit board.

, The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – October 24, 2014Autumn Brew Doings (Blacksburg, VA) – The 6th annual Blacksburg Brew Do returns to one of Virginia’s most scenic cities tomorrow (Oct 25th) from noon-6 pm in beautiful Blacksburg, Virginia. Forty-nine of the region’s best breweries will be on hand offering up more than 100 different beers to sample. This year’s beerganza will also feature some serious Virginia cooking, live music, and the culmination of the 6th annual Brew Do Homebrew Competition. , The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – October 24, 2014TV Time
– With so many great television dramas on cable nowadays – it’s hard to keep up with everything – and we almost neglected to mention the return of one of the best. AMC’s The Walking Dead made its season 5 debut recently and the brilliant apocalyptic zombie saga hasn’t missed a beat. This season opens with Rick Grimes and crew still confined in Terminus, an old railroad terminal and supposed safe-haven from zombies that they’ve discovered too late is actually a trap set by apocalypse survivors who’ve turned to cannibalism – good stuff!
