, THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER WEEKEND PICKSDrink Globally This Weekend (Seattle, WA) – The 2015 Seattle International Beer Fest returns today to the Fisher Pavilion and Lawn in Seattle Center. This three-day event (July 10th-12th)-7th will feature a “Grande Beer Garden” with more than 200 beers from 16 countries, including many hard-to- find “exotics.” Live bands will be performing all weekend and food is being provided by some of Seattle’s best restaurants. VIP tickets, with free beer tickets and express entry are available. The festival is a benefit for Pet Cross. On The Big Screen – This weekend’s movie openings run the gamut from the latest Marvel superhero release to the most hyped comedy of the summer. Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd as a lovable con-man armed with super-suit that allows him the astonishing ability to shrink in scale and increase in strength when he does.  But if you (as so many) have had your fill of superheroes there’s always Trainwreck, Amy Schumer’s semi-autobiographical comedy on dating in the thirtysomething world.

(Corpus Christi, TX) – One of the nation’s most popular travelling beer tours, America on Tap will be touching down in Corpus Christi this weekend and if you’re down that way you may want to think about tapping in to it, this Saturday (July 11th) down at the American Bank Center. This afternoon event will feature over 100 of this country’s best craft breweries and they’re will be live music, serious food and all kinds of mischief going on. TV TimeTrue Detective was one of television’s best received and most critically acclaimed dramas of 2014. It was conceived as an anthology, and it recently made its second season return to HBO with a whole new cast of characters and a brand new location. This year’s True Detective, involves a small-time mobster (Vince Vaughn), and a murder that brings together three separate investigators from different jurisdictions, played by Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch. Whether this season can duplicate the brilliance of last year’s debut remains to be seen – but the actors are worthy of watching – and the cinematography , THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER WEEKEND PICKSstriking – so it’s got our attention for now.
