, The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – January 29, 2016A Feast Of Belgian Yeast (Seattle, WA) – if you’re up in the Pacific Northwest, you can get your Belgian beer fix this Saturday (Jan 30th), when the Washington Beer Commission presents its 7th Annual Belgianfest. This year’s two-session event is taking place at the Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center and will feature more than 100+ Belgian-style beers crafted by Washington state breweries. There will be an insane array of Tripels, Dubbels, Saisons, Wits, Abbeys and Lambics – and of course, all of the beers presented are brewed with Belgian yeast. On The Big Screen – Welcome late January – when Hollywood dumps there more questionable projects into the marketplace and hopes that something sticks. The Finest Hours is a dramatic recreation of a legendary sea rescue that took place off of Cape Cod many , The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – January 29, 2016years back. TV Time – The SyFy network has just debuted a new long form series based on Lev Grossman’s best-selling fantasy series that’s as inventive as it is entertaining. Not unlike Harry Potter, The Magicians takes place in a secret school for magic but that’s where the similarities end.  This school is in upstate New York -and its students more recognizably contemporary – so yes there’s plenty of sex and drugs.
