, The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – August 28, 2015So welcome to our awesome Weekend Picks…

Brews On Both Sides Of The Bay (Cape May, NJ) – The Cape May-Lewes Ferry connects two popular coastal regions in New Jersey and Delaware. This Saturday, August 29th each state will be participating in Brews By The Bay, a combined festival taking place on both sides of the bay. The afternoon session take place at the Cape May Ferry Terminal from 11:30-3:30pm. Then you can drunkenly jump on the ferry (hopefully avoiding sea sickness) and head over to Delaware for the afternoon session (4-8pm) of which is being held at the Lewes Ferry Terminal. On The Big Screen – This week’s new movie offerings are mediocre at best, but at least we’re getting a break from all the superhero dreck they’ve been burying us with lately. Z for Zachariah is a post-apocalyptic drama that stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Chris Pine, and Margot Robbie as possibly the world’s last survivors. And No Escape stars Owen Wilson in a serious turn, as the head of an American family living abroad that’s caught up in a dangerous political coup. Or you can stay at home with Netflix and drink beer.

, The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – August 28, 2015Drink Canada (Ottawa) – You can enjoy some of best craft beers in Canada this weekend when the 4th annual Ottawa Craft Beer Festival returns to that country’s capital city. This year’s three-day event (August 28th-30th) taking place in Ottawa’s beautiful Lansdowne Park, will feature over 40 of the region’s best breweries and all kinds of artisan foods. For a complete list of all the breweries attending check out: Ottawa Craft Beer Festival

TV TimeThe Walking Dead’s much anticipated companion series, Fear the Walking Dead debuted last week and enjoyed monster ratings in spite of a number of mediocre reviews. Those of you who follow us regularly, know that were big fans of the original apocalyptic zombie series. So even though we found last week’s launch a bit slow we’re hopeful that this new west coast spin-off will eventually find its way.
