On The Big Screen – Two Sci-Fi films are opening this weekend and we don’t know what to think of either of them. is directed by Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski who really haven’t made a decent movie since The Matrix. It stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, so there’s that. Seventh Son is a fantasy staring the Oscar-winning Jeff Bridges who hasn’t been seen in a respectable film since he appeared as “The Dude” in The Big Lebowski. And if those two flicks sound too stupid for you there’s always The Imitation Game which just might be the best movie of 2014.

Our Weekend Beer Pick

When the weather gets colder, we like our brews darker and bolder – and we’ve a barrel-aged classic for you from the Lakewood Brewing Company. Released in Mid-December Lakewood 2014 Bourbon Barrel Temptress is their beloved Imperial Milk Stout aged for six month in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, and it’s awesome!
