, The American Craft Beer Rumor Mill – September 4, 2013Airways Brewing & American Craft Beer Collaboration Met with National Protests! (Washington, DC / Kent, WA) – An enjoyably long holiday weekend came to a rude and abrupt halt yesterday, as news spread like wildfire across the craft beer industry that Airways Brewing and AmericanCraftBeer.com were releasing a collaborative beer together. Non-Stop Session IPA is the bastard love child of what many might think a misguided alliance, and in spite of some small yet violent protests in different parts of the country, it remains scheduled for release tomorrow. “Hey, we get that some industry insiders might believe this partnership to be ill-considered,” reflected Tom Bobak, Founder and Editor-In-Chief of AmericanCraftBeer.com, “but we remain undeterred. We think that Non-Stop Session IPA demands attention, and we’re releasing it tomorrow come hell or high water.”

“I’m in discussions with local authorities and they’ve agreed to be on stand-by should extra security be needed,” said Dione Dittmar, theGeneral Manager & Marketing Director for Airways Brewing Company. “Our fans are excited about Non-Stop’s release and we are doing everything we can to be sure that tomorrow night’s party is safe and enjoyable.”

Odell to Qualify (Fort Collins, CO) – As part of their ongoing expansion plans, Odell Brewing Company will be adding a quality-control tasting room and lab. “The idea,” according to The Coloradoan, “is to test the beer under the best and worst-case scenarios, to see if it’s being made correctly, and to see how well it holds up once shipped off to liquor stores and bars.”
