, The American Craft Beer Rumor Mill – October 29, 2014Liquid Motivation (Minneapolis, MN) – Just when we were sure that we’d heard of almost everything, Colle + McVoy, a Minnesota-based ad agency, has come up with TapServer, a one-of-a-kind deployment system that rewards employees with free beer for doing their timesheets. “I guess the prospect of getting paid isn’t enough to make some employees fill out their timesheets,” mused a bemused Tom Bobak, Editor at AmericanCraftBeer.com. “Beer’s always a solid incentive,” he added, “but it’s possible that some companies could see an increase in overtime hour claims.”

What We’ve Been Drinking Lately (Washington, DC) – We’d like to thank all of the American craft breweries who ship us beer from time to time. It’s great to be able to sample the brews that we write about and it helps us have a better feel for what’s happening out there. Last night, we capped open the latest Single Hop IPA Series release from our friends at Flying Dog and it just might be one of their best. Single Hop Imperial IPA with Galaxy is a 10% ABV Imperial that plays Rye and Cara-Pils malts off of the fruity Galaxy hops and it was a blast to try!
