After all, this year’s 10.25% Younger is neither bottled nor available in growlers, so the only way to enjoy it, is right from the source, or at a handful of select draft accounts. This year’s Pliny celebration runs through February 18th – so you know what to do.

Join some 300+ fellow brewers and hop growers for 2-days of actionable insight, in-the-trenches elucidation, networking and drinking, at the Black Hops Farm in beautiful Leesburg, Virginia This thing is going to be awesome experience and you absolutely don’t want to miss it.

What We’ve Been Drinking Lately (Washington, DC) – We’d like to thank all of the American craft breweries who’ve shipped us beer from time to time. It’s always great to sample the brews that we write about and it helps us have a better feel for what’s happening out there. Last night we hit up their latest Debut Series “draft-only’ release from our friends at Starr Hill. Midnight black, with a rich dark chocolate and vanilla aroma, Starr Hill Debut Double Chocolate Stout is a full-bodied, 7.8% ABV Imperial with a deep creamy head and a lingering mouthfeel.
