The American Craft Beer Quick Hits – July 6, 2015

We blame the industry for this… It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. There was little need to check in for updates – things were pretty much done. But clearly all that’s changed.

Urine from more than 100,000 festivalgoers will be used to fertilize barley that will go into the beer served at next year’s event. The Guardian is reporting that even the rock stars are being invited to share their artistic piss in the process, which we hope will add some nuance to the eventual brew.

No word on the brand of beer that he stole, but we’re guessing it probably wasn’t SweetWater.
