Kickin’ It in Little Bavaria (Frankenmuth, MI) – The 25th annual Frankenmuth Oktoberfest is on all weekend (Sept 19th-21st) and this one’s the real deal. In 1996, Lord Mayor Christian Ude of Germany officially sanctioned the Frankenmuth Oktoberfest celebration, making it the only city outside of Munich to receive such an honor. Dubbed Michigan’s Little Bavaria, the city is about as German as an American city can get, from its cuckoo-clock stores to an authentic German beer hall. Polka & Bier – Texas Style (Addison, TX) – You think they don’t celebrate Oktoberfest in Texas? We’ll think again, because the Addison Oktoberfest 2014 is on all weekend (Sept 19th-21st). Billed as the”the most authentic Oktoberfest outside of Munich,” you can Join more than 70,000 fans of polka, German food, and Bier, in Addison’s spectacular Addison

German Bier at the Pier (San Francisco, CA) – Pier 48 will be ground zero this weekend for Oktoberfest by the Bay – three days of nonstop music, singing, dancing and the very best in German food and drink. Headlining their stage will be the world renowned, 21-piece Chico Bavarian Band. (Can it get any better than that?) Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Oktoberfest in Cincy (Cincinnati, OH) – Oktoberfest Zinzinnati returns to Cincinnati this weekend (Sept 19th -20th.) It’s presented by Sam Adams and they’re also saying it’s the largest Oktoberfest celebration in the country. More than half-a-million will converge on a six-block area to eat, drink, sport lederhosen, listen to polka music, try to speak German and perform the Chicken Dance(Yes!) The festival will also feature seven stages showcasing continuous live German music and more than 30 food vendors serving close to 200 dishes. More than 1,300 barrels of beer are consumed each year at Oktoberfest and we expect all of you to do your part!
Bier in Berwyn? (Berwyn, IL) – The Historic Berwyn Depot District is celebrating its 14th annual Berwyn Oktoberfest this weekend (Sept 19th -20th) and you don’t want to miss it. And yes there will be sausages and bier.
That’s why they Call It the Mile High City (Denver, CO) – the 45th annual Denver Oktoberfest returns this weekend (Sept 19th -21th) and next weekend too! This Oktoberfest celebration attracts over 350,000 people throughout its two-weekend run and was quoted in Maxim Magazine and USA Today as “The Best Oktoberfest” in the United States and “One of the country’s biggest and longest running traditions”
