DRINK BEER IN THE LAST FRONTIER (Haines, AK) -With Memorial Day being the “un-official” start of summer and the fact that it’s a long holiday weekend – there are even more craft beer festivals than usual taking place (28 to be exact). Still the Great Alaska Craft Beer and Home Brew Festivalwhich is taking place this weekend (May 27th-28th) is absolutely one of the best. We were drinking last week, while up in Alaska, with Haines Brewing’s Paul Wheeler, who’s also heavily involved with this legendary festival. He told us that this weekend’s throwdown will feature more live music, more great food and more brilliant Alaskan craft beer than ever before. Tickets are long gone – so for many of you, it’s looking towards next year. But this festival is yet another reason for a trip up to “The Last Frontier” – trust us.

, THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND PICKSON THE BIG SCREEN – Marvel’s mighty mutants fight extinction in the eighth installment of the long-running X-Men franchise – and if you’re like us, you already have tickets.
