Sure, Candi Belgian Tripel may taste all sugar and spice, but this dangerous beauty flirts with a “let’s keep this under covers” 9.5% ABV. Candi will be replacing GiGi’s Farmhouse Ale as the next rotating brand in their year-round variety Pinup Pack.

Angel City Readies For Winter (Los Angeles, CA) – Angel City Brewery’s new winter seasonal is set to debut next week. Perfect for shorter days and long chilly nights, Vanilla Porter is rich but surprisingly drinkable. , Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For – October 31, 2013Victory Hops It Up (Downingtown, PA) – Victory Brewing Company has just announced their newest seasonal offering. Hop Ranch Imperial India Pale Ale traces its roots to Victory’s Ranch series, a unique study of hops in which Brewmasters experimented with different hop varieties that were eventually showcased in the resulting series’ recipes. Look for this 9% ABV Imperial IPA to be available in four-packs and on draft in December.

Breakside Gets Wanderlust (Portland, OR) – Breakside Brewery has released its newest year-round beer and it’s brewed to travel. Wanderlust IPA is modeled after their hugely popular double IPA, “India Golden Ale,” that was brewed earlier this year with Ninkasi Brewing. This beer clocks in at a moderate 6.6% ABV, but drinks as big as any IPA out there. Wanderlust is currently available in bottles in Oregon and Washington State and will soon be available in Idaho and British Columbia as well.

Marin Flowers (Larkspur, CA) – Marin Brewing Company is bottling one of their most popular IPAs for the first time. 3 Flowers IPA is a straw-colored 6.5% ABV Rye IPA. The three flowers referred to in its title are actually the Citra, Cascade, and Chinook hops that they used to brew it. This award-winning beer received a Gold medal in the 2011 Great American Beer Festival, as well as a Silver medal in the 2012 World Beer Cup.
