, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For – January 23, 2014Ice Cream or Stout? (Portland, OR) – No matter what camp you fall into, Breakside Brewery’s newest seasonal release has something for everyone. A collaboration with Salt & Straw Ice Cream, Salted Caramel Stout has long been one of the brewery’s most popular seasonal draft brews – and now it’s available for the first time in bottles. This special seasonal stout sports a rich roasted caramel flavor upfront with a hint of salt in the finish. Look for it on draft and in 22 oz. bottles in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, British Columbia, and Japan (!) on Feb 1.

Tango Takes to the Floor (Easton, PA) – Weyerbacher Brewing has returned a favorite from their Brewers Select Series and we’re pretty damn excited that they did! Tango is a Belgian-style ale brewed with 1,200 pounds of cherries. This 10.6% ABV beauty pours deep ruby red and features a complex aroma of cherries and other dark fruits. Tango is now available in 750 ml bottles for a limited time.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For – January 23, 2014The Loud Mouth Returns (Kent, WA) – Our friends up at Airways Brewing just tipped us to the return of a beloved “loud mouth” and we thought you’d want the inside skinny. Last released in June of 2013, Loud Lady Imperial IPA is a draft-only release brewed with more than 52 pounds of Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, and Simcoe hops added to each 10-barrel batch. You can currently find this legendary Northwest-style Imperial on draft at the Airways Brewing Tap Room in the Kent industrial area, at the Airways Beer & Bistro in Downtown Kent, and at select locations around the Puget Sound.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For – January 23, 2014Season of the Wench (Berkeley, CA) – Bison Brewing’s newest seasonal is a Farmhouse Ale brewed with botanicals and a nod to ACB fav Ashley Routson (aka “The Beer Wench“). Using the brewery’s award-winning farmhouse ale as its starting point, Saison de Wench adds a botanical blend of organic roses, hibiscus, and lemongrass into the mix. This “wonder of wenchness” will make its debut the 2nd week of February on draft and in stylishly sleek, yet gender-neutral pink 4-packs.

A Scholarly Exercise (Seattle, WA) – Elysian Brewing’s just re-released something brilliant that you’ll want to get your hands on. As part of the brewery’s Manic IPA Series, Savant IPA is a 6.3% ABV pleasure bittered with Northwest Chinook hops and finished with fruit-juicy New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops – and it’s available now on draft and in 22 oz. bombers.
