So many beers, So little timeGreen Flash is kicking off a series of corked and caged finish ales (that’s a new one for us) from the brewery’s Cellar 3 barrel-aging facility – and you need to know about this.  Plus we’ve also got new releases from Flying Dog and Half Acre Beer that sound pretty awesome as well.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForGood or Great? (Longmont, CO)  Left Hand Brewing just released their spring seasonal and it comes with an Imperial variation this year. Good Juju is their 4.5% ABV spiced ale that’s brewed with organic ginger. Great Juju is a 7.2% ABV Imperial Ginger Pale Ale that’s available now on draft and in 22 oz. bombers.

The Russians Are Coming (Escondido, CA) – Stone just returned a popular Imperial along with an “Odd Beers for Odd Years” variation. 2015’s Stone Imperial Russian Stout is the 10.6% ABV classic that we’ve all enjoyed for years. The 2015 Stone CHAI-SPICED Imperial Russian Stout is that same classic enhanced with chai spice, hints of anise, and a dark berry fruitiness that takes this beloved traditional to some surprising and unexpected places.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForSpaced (Chicago, IL) – Half Acre Beer has a “draft-only” offering- that they brewed to honor a friend of theirs who died – and they’ve recently upgraded to 22 oz. bottles. Half Acre Space IPA is a 7% ABV Citra hop memoriam that’s available now for a limited run.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForCellar 3 (San Diego, CA) – Green Flash is kicking off a series of corked- and caged-finished ales (that’s a new one for us) from the brewery’s Cellar 3 barrel-aging facility. Cellar 3 Silva Stout is a 10.1% ABV midnight black Imperial Ale that’s been aged to perfection in oak bourbon barrels.

Return of the Dead (Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog is returning an uber-popular release that they debuted last year and it is brewed using the region’s iconic OLD BAY seasoning. Flying Dog’s Dead Rise OLD BAY Summer Ale is a 5.6% homage to a Chesapeake Bay summertime tradition. And proceeds from its sales go to the True Blue Program, which advocates on behalf of the Maryland Blue Crab industry and the 5,500 watermen working the Chesapeake Bay.
