, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForCocoa Nuts (Downingtown, PA) – Victory recently released a decadent Porter variation and we’re all about it. Victory Deep Cocoa is a massive 8.5% ABV Porter brewed with cocoa nibs. It’s rich, complex, and available now on draft and in 750ml bottles.

Golden Sours (Fort Collins, CO) – Odell Brewing has just released the latest from their popular Cellar Series and with spring now well on its way, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Odell’s Brazzle is a crisp golden ale that was aged and soured in former Woodcut barrels for a little over two years. Three hundred pounds of raspberries were added before and after the barrel-aging process, giving the beer both a puckering tartness and a hint of raspberry sweetness.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForSlingshots at Shmaltz (Clifton Park, NY) – Shmaltz Brewing has a new year-round offering that they’ll be rolling out in April. Shmaltz Slingshot is a 5.3% ABV American Lager purposefully created to stand up to the big beer Goliaths of the world. It boasts a bright, citrusy hop aroma and wheat and rye counter-tones. Starting in April, Slingshot will become available in a handful of top markets, including New York, Illinois, Texas, and Iowa.

Sweetwater Turning 18 Next Week (Atlanta, GA) – SweetWater Brewing turns 18 next Tuesday, March 17th and they’ve brewed up something special to celebrate it with. SweetWater 18 is a 10% ABV Belgian-style Tripel and it’s a very, very, limited run – so you need to act fast, if you see it.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForSymphonic (Asheville, NC) — Highland Brewing is celebrating Mozart and the Asheville Symphony with their newest release and it’s sure to be classic. Highland’s Wolfgang 1756, a drinkable 4.75% ABV Amber Vienna Lager, is brewed especially for the orchestra’s Amadeus festival and it’s getting a coming out party at 7 pm on March 14th at the brewery’s tasting room. And it will also become available in 22 oz. bottles and on draft soon after that.
