, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForBrewery Cited for Holiday Shakedown (Charlottesville, VA) – Starr Hill is releasing the latest in their All Access Series as they look toward winter holidays. Shakedown Imperial Chocolate Cherry Stout was brewed with the holidays in mind, with fresh fruit and dark chocolate added during the beer’s fermentation process.

Two Beers Releases Two Beers! (Seattle, WA) – Two Beers Brewing Company has an anniversary coming up and they’ve two special releases that you can celebrate it with! The first release is Two Beers 7th Anniversary American Sour Ale – a 10% ABV golden sour aged in white wine barrels for 15 months. And on November 8, they’ll be releasing Two Beers Overhang Bourbon Imperial Porter – a unique 12.9% ABV ale that’s been aged in bourbon barrels for six months with cocoa, cinnamon, and a touch of cloves that’s perfect at this time of year.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForThe Universe Shuts Up (Ashland, VA) – Virginia-based Center of the Universe Brewing Company has a special Black Friday release coming out that you’ll want to be ready for. Shut UP Imperial Stout is a 10.2% ABV blended ale that’s been aged in bourbon and port barrels. On November 28, the brewery will open at noon to sell this very special limited-edition ale available in 22 oz. bombers – but there’s a 4-bottle limit – so you’d better bring your friends!

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForBastards All (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing returned two bastards earlier this week that were originally created to honor the one-year anniversary of Arrogant Bastard Ale – the beer that led to the establishment of the now widely recognized American Strong Ale category. An amped-up version of that original “bastard,” Stone’s Double Bastard is an 11% ABV ale that was first released in November of 1998 and has returned annually ever since.Lukcy Basartd Ale was created to celebrate Arrogant Bastard Ale’s (lucky) 13th anniversary. The 8.5% ABV ale is a blend ofArrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale, and OAKED Arrogant Bastard Ale that was then dry-hopped. This lucky bastard debuted in 2010 and has been making a brief appearance every other year since.
