So many beers, So little time… Bell’s Brewery is making some classical moves with their latest special series release. We’ll have all that plus some serious new offerings from 21st Amendment and Victory Brewing that you’ll want to track down.
Victory Busts A Move (Downingtown, PA) – Victory Brewing will soon be releasing the second beer from their ever-evolving IPA series in 22 oz. bombers and on draft. Victory Moving Parts 02 travels back toward the classic British-style IPA and uses all-English hops and English yeast. And at 7.1% ABV, this one drinks big.
Blah Blah Blah (San Francisco, CA) – 21st Amendment Brewery has just released its first new beer in quite some time – but it’s draft-only and it has a super-snarky name. Blah Blah Blah IPA is their comical take on the endless varieties of American craft beer IPAs – but it’s also a 7.75% ABV full-bodied red IPA that’s dry-hopped out of its mind.Part of 21st Amendment’s Big Can draft-only series, look for these barrels to begin rolling out any day now.
Venus Calling (Kalamazoo, MI) – Bell’s Brewery will soon be releasing the second beer from The Planets Series – a special release project that was inspired by Gustav Holst’s seven-movement orchestral suite. Venus – The Bringer of Peace is a 7.5% ABV Blonde Ale brewed with honey, apricot, cardamom, and vanilla and we’re all about it. More than 60 pounds of hand-sliced vanilla beans were used to ferment this strong fruit and spice beer – so be ready to run this one down!
Cookie-Cutter Beers (Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog Brewery is teaming up with Baltimore-based Otterbein’s Bakery on four new, cookie-inspired craft beers that will be released in a holiday 12-pack. The Flying Dog Holiday Collection will include
Imperial Hefeweizen, inspired by and meant to be paired with Otterbein’s Sugar Cookies

Whiskey & Pumpkins (Richmond, VA) – Hardywood Park Craft Brewery has just announced the newest addition to their 2014 Barrel Series – and we’re pretty damned excited about it. Hardywood Rye Whiskey Barrel Pumpkin combines the flavors and aromas of autumn with a soul warming, rye whiskey-laced finish that can only be achieved through months of maturation in Jim Beam rye whiskey barrels. Look for this special-edition, limited release Pumpkin Ale in Virginia, DC, and eastern Pennsylvania beginning October 20.
