, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForHops Around The World (Fort Collins, CO) – New Belgium’s newest Hop Kitchen Series release is a double IPA brewed with Admiral hops from England, Galaxy hops from Australia, Styrian Dana hops and Citra hops from the US. Brewed with raw international materials, New Belgium Hop the Pond is a hophead’s fever dream, and a potent mixture of diverse flavors and aromas. At an unforgiving 8% ABV, this heady elixir is available now on draft until it’s gone – so know you’ve been warned.

Two Hours from Bine to Brew (Independence, OR) – In celebration of this year’s hop harvest, Rogue Ales is releasing something very special. Rogue Farms Wet Hop Ale is brewed with fresh-picked Freedom & Yaquina hops grown on the Rogue Farm in Independence, Oregon.Within minutes of being trimmed from the trellises, Brewmaster John Maier and his crew were on hand to strip the hop cones from their bines, stuff them into burlap sacks, immediately drive them 77 miles to the Rogue Brewery in Newport, Oregon, and pitch them into the kettle to finish brewing. This harvest season ale will be available on draft in limited quantities at all Rogue Ales Public Houses, as well as at select bars and restaurants nationwide.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForNew “Enjoy By” Ships to Eleven Markets This Friday (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing’s next edition in the Enjoy By series ships this Friday. The 9.4% ABV Stone Enjoy By 10.31.14 IPA will be available in California, Colorado, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania, both the Carolinas, and Georgia this time around.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForSam Adams Gets Cru-ed (Boston, MA) – The brewers at Samuel Adams have their passion projects, and the latest example is their newest small batch release. Samuel Adams Kosmic Mother Funk Grand Cru is a unique Belgian ale, aged in Hungarian oak tuns for over a year and fermented with multiple micro-organisms found in the environment of the historic brewery.A touch of Belgian candi sugar was added to balance the beer’s tart acidity and lend some smoothness and sweetness to the finish. This special brew will debut today in San Diego at the 2014 Beer Bloggers Conference, and will then be available on draft in select U.S. cities as part of the Kosmic Mother Funk Grand Cru 12-City Tasting tour, which runs from August through November.

Chasing Freshness (Bend, OR) – One of our favorite Fresh Hop IPAs is coming out soon and Deschutes is behind it. Part of the Bond StreetSeries, Deschutes Chasin’ Freshies is a 7.2% ABV Fresh Hop Pale Ale that features a different hop every year. The 2014 release showcases the Mosaic hop, and it will begin rolling out in October in22 oz. bottles and on draft.
