Look for this “lawyered-up” beauty to hit the national market in the next couple of weeks.

Bishop’s Barrel On A Roll (Houston, TX) – The seventh release from Saint Arnold Brewing’sBishop’s Barrel series became available yesterday and we’re pretty jazzed about it. Aged in bourbon barrels for more than 11 months, Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel 7 Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout is an 11.3% ABV sipper that’s a merger of spice, bourbon, and chocolate. As with previous Bishop’s Barrel releases, bottles are available only at bars and restaurants.

Meat Whistle (Burlington, VT) – Magic Hat Brewing Company is finally releasing a coveted cache of a strangely named and extremely limited brew that’s spent two years aging in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. Magic Hat’s 10.5% ABV Meatwhistle Imperial Stout is brewed with an exotic mix of malts (Pale, Caramel 80L, CaraMunich 120L) and roasted barley as well as a healthy dose of Columbus hops. Samples and 32 oz. growlers of this extremely limited release are available, until they are not, at the Magic Hat Artifactory as well as at select bars and restaurants in Burlington, VT.
