, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForGetting Fizzy With It (Portland, OR) – The third beer in Widmer Brothers Brewing’s 30th Anniversary Collaboration Series has just been announced and it sounds interesting. Fizz is a 5.5% ABV bubbly spritzer-style ale that was brewed using lemons and fresh ginger with the brewing team at 10 Barrel Brewing in Bend, Oregon. Fizz will be available in the coming weeks in 22 oz. bottles and on draft, with limited distribution in select markets, including Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Minneapolis, New York City, Boston, and Philadelphia.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForMocha Machine Madness (Long Beach, CA) – Mark your calendars beer freaks, because on July 29, Beachwood BBQ Brewing will be releasing an award-winning beer. Beachwood Mocha Machine Imperial Coffee Chocolate Porter is a well-engineered endeavor in massive aromatics and rich flavors that took home the 2014 World Beer Cup Bronze Medal in the Coffee Beer category. This buzzed porter is brewed with masterfully roasted coffee from Costa Mesa California’s Portola Coffee Lab and then aged with cacao nibs from Ecuador (whew!).Mocha Machine will be available on draft and sold in 22 oz. bottles at both Beachwood locations.

Upland Side Trails (Bloomington, IN) – The Upland Brewing Company will soon be releasing their newest Side Trail Series beer and we’re looking forward to it. Upland Loner IPA is a 6.1% ABV special release that features a single fresh hop – Chinook. Look for the Loner to hit wholesale on August 1 and to become available on tap August 8.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForThe Hoppiest Place On Earth (Escondido, CA) – Stone’s latest anniversary release will launch nationally on August 11. The 8.5% ABV Stone 18th Anniversary IPA is referred to by the company as “the hoppiest golden-brown IPA on earth” and we’ll just have to take them at their word.

Oaktoberfest (Paso Robles, CA) – It’s time to dust off your stein and get a jump on German tradition as Firestone Walker Brewing Company is set to release their Oaktoberfest in bottles, marking the first-ever packaged release of this “Paso Märzen Bier.” Named to commemorate the brewery’s hometown of Paso Robles–Spanish for “Pass of The Oaks”–as well as the longtime presence of oak barrels as a central part of the brewery’s operation, Firestone Walker Oaktoberfest is a seasonal offering for late summer and fall, and will be available in bottles for the first time starting on August 1. Up until now, the beer was exclusively a draft-only offering originally made for the brewery’s local Oaktoberfest celebration.
