, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForMucho Madness (Athens, GA) – The crazed crew at the Terrapin Beer Company has a new Side Project that we can’t wait to try. Terrapin Guano Loco – Side Project Vol. 23 is an 8.6% ABV “Chili Pepper Brownie Ale” that’s hot, sweet, and spicy. Guano Loco is rolling out now and you can find it on draft and in 22 oz. bombers.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForBumper Crop (Salt Lake City, UT) – Squatters Craft Beers has a new summer seasonal out that was originally brewed to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Salt Lake City’s legendary Farmers Market. Squatters Bumper Crop Ale is a 5.5% ABV honey ale brewed with lavender and local honey, and it’s out there now, but won’t be forever – so you know what to do.

Beer Camp Variety Pack Arrives (Chico, CA) – Sierra Nevada has just shipped out one of this summer’s most-anticipated variety packs and if the beers are as good as its backstory – we’re in! Sierra Nevada partnered with a dozen exceptional craft breweries to create 12 different beers for one mixed 12-pack–including 10 bottles and two cans–a first in the craft beer world. And all of these brewers will be part of the Beer Camp Across America tour later this month – billed by the brewery as the “largest craft beer celebration in history.” Participating brewers include: AllagashAsheville Brewers AllianceBallast PointBell’sCigar CityFirestone WalkerNew GlarusNinkasiOskar BluesRussian River, and Victory Brewing.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForDouble DBA Done (Paso Robles, CA) – The third and final bottled release of Firestone Walker Brewing Company’s barrel-aged Imperial DBA begins on July 12, setting the stage for a not-yet-chosen replacement for next year. As with previous vintages, this year’s Firestone Walker Double DBA is an Imperial Special Bitter brewed to double strength, using twice the amount of malts and hops. As with the regular DBA, the 2014 Double DBA was partially fermented in a union of new American oak barrels. After fermentation, the beer was racked and returned to the union barrels as well as bourbon barrels, where it aged for one year. 

Gold Rush (Fort Collins, CO) –Odell Brewing will soon be releasing one of its latest Cellar Seriesbeers and we’re interested. Named for the Colorado gold rush of 1859, Odell Fifty Niner Brett Golden Ale is a crisp and creamy Golden that was conditioned with Brettanomyces and aged in-house for 8 weeks.
