, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForThe Summer Goes to Helles (Fort Collins, CO) – New Belgium Brewing has a new summer seasonal that was originally brewed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of both Telluride’s famed Bluegrass Festival and Rockygrass Festival. New Belgium Summer Helles is a traditional German-style lager. This 5% ABV beauty is light and bright but has a substantial body and a crisp and dry finish – perfect for summer and summertime’s festivals.

Watch Out For The IRS (Escondido, CA) – This is one visit from the IRS that you don’t want to miss.Each spring, Stone Brewing-heads everywhere are on watch for the return of Stone Imperial Russian Stout (better known by enthusiasts as IRS). First brewed in 2000, this year’s deep black imperial comes in at 10.6% ABV and features four malt varieties and Warrior hops. The 2014 Stone Imperial Russian Stout is now available in limited 22 oz. bottles and on draft nationwide.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For Low Altitude Hop-Bomb Alert (Ridgefield Park, NJ) – One of New Jersey’s newest breweries, Bolero Snort Brewery has just issued a hop-bomb alert – so be ready. Hopped out of its mind, yet sessionable (4.2% ABV), Bolero Snort Longhop IPA is going year-round and beginning tomorrow, you can get it in cans.

Take it Easy or Don’t Take it at All (Frederick, MD) – A beer that the Flying Dog Brewery originally released in May of last year as part of their Brewhouse Rarities series is returning as a year-round and we’re beyond psyched about it. The brewery’s first entrant into the fast-growing Session IPA arena, Flying Dog Easy IPA is a 4.7% ABV hop-happy brew that will begin rolling out in the mid-Atlantic around April 15.

A Seven Year Itch (Portland, ME) – Known for its dedication to brewing the best Belgian-inspired beers in the world, Allagash Brewing Company is releasing their first year-round beer in seven years. Allagash Saison is the brewery’s interpretation of a classic Belgian-style Saison – a rustic, golden ale both traditional and distinctive. And it’s now available in 17 states and in Washington, DC in 4 packs of 12 oz. bottles as well as on draft.
