So welcome to our special Memorial Day Newbies – your guide to new summer releases.

Where There’s A Will  There’s A Wheat (San Francisco, CA) – Memorial Day signals summer’s arrival. Light and refreshing beers take center stage at this time of year and Anchor has a great one. Anchor Summer Wheat is a filtered, 4.5% ABV refresher that’s light, crisp, and perfect for the long hot summertime days to come.

Canned Love (Downingtown, PA) – Victory Brewing’s newly opened Parkersburg operation has allowed them to up their canning game – and their popular summer seasonal is first off the line. Victory Summer Love Ale is a 5.2% ABV Blonde brewed with whole flower Tettnang, Simcoe, and Citra hops and fresh clean German malts. And now it’s available in cans as well as in bottles and on draft.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForShaking It Up For The Summer (Ft Collins, CO) – New Belgium is going Victorian-era with their latest Lips of Faith Series release. New Belgium Pear Ginger Beer is a 7% ABV spiced lemon peel and pear libation that can be enjoyed as it is or mixed into a cocktail and it’s available now on draft or in 22 oz. bombers.

Summer Solstice (Boonville, CA) – Anderson Valley has a great summer beer and it’s an almost forgotten style. Not your typical summer seasonal, Anderson Valley Summer Solstice is a 5% ABV Cream Ale (!) that’s surprisingly rich and dark for a seasonal at this time of year – and that’s one of the things we enjoy most about it.

Going For Seconds (Atlanta, GA) – Second Self Beer Company believes that layers of character and flavor can add up to something special and we couldn’t agree more. Red Hop Rye is a 7.3% ABV hybrid Red Rye IPA with a multitude of tones (malty, hoppy bold, and balanced) that constantly play off each other to amazing affect. Pair this beer with your barbeque outing – you can thank us later.
