Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For

So many beers- So little time… Fort George Brewery does an annual collaboration IPA and this year they’ve enlisted Georgetown Brewing and the Pfriem Family Brewers to help them. Word has it that things got pretty wild and that’s why we’re psyched about their latest 3-way. Plus we’ve some new releases from Shmaltz and Innis & Gunn that sound exceptionally awesome as well.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForHot Lips (Dover, DE) – Fordham & Dominion Brewing Company have just rolled their newest year-round that’s also part of their “saucy” Pinup Series and also, amazingly, Dominion’s first IPA ever. Dominion Hot Lips IPA is a 6% ABV celebration of Nelson-Sauvin and Citra hops tethered to a sturdy malt backbone. Hot Lips is available on draft and in 12oz bottles – so you know what to do.

Under The Gunn (Scotland) – Innis & Gunn have just released a new seasonal and we can’t wait to try it. Innis & Gunn’s 5.8% ABV Rare Oak Pale Ale was aged over Scottish Oak. Elderflower and Sweet Gale were also added to the beer during maturation. It’s particularity interesting to note that Sweet Gale was used by Scottish brewers in the Middle Ages as an alternative to imported hops because of its aromatic and mood enhancing properties.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForFor The Fallen (Baltimore, MD) – Full Tilt Brewing will soon be releasing a new collaboration that benefits the Military Relief Fund of Maryland. “IN MEMORY OF…” is a crisp 5.3% ABV Pilsner and is slated to become the latest year-round addition to their family of offerings.

A 3-Way Play Day (Astoria, OR / Hood River, OR / Seattle, WA) – Fort George Brewery does an annual 3-Way collaboration IPA an this year they’ve enlisted Georgetown Brewing and  the Pfriem Family Brewers to help them. This year’s 3-Way IPA is an ensemble of Simcoe, Meridian, Citra, and Equinox hops and a crescendo of tropical and citrus flavors.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForAmerican Bock (Clifton Park, NY) – Shmaltz Brewing’s latest release is an American take on an amped-up European traditional and it sounds interesting, Bock Bock is a 9.2% ABV Imperial American Bock lager-aged in Bourbon barrels and it will be hitting the shelves this month – but in very limited quantities.
