Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For

So many beers- So little time… Gigantic Brewing only makes one year-round, Gigantic IPA. Everything else is a seasonal that’s usually around for no longer than 3 months and then never repeated again – and that’s why we’re psyched about their latest offering. We’ve some new releases from Deschutes and Heavy Seas that sound exceptionally awesome as well.

Born To Die (UK) – It appears that that the Ellon, Scotland-based BrewDog will be releasing a new IPA that’s inspired by Stone’sEnjoy By series. BrewDog Born to Die – 04.07.2105 will be the first IPA in the series to hit the marketplace.

White Light White Heat (Portland, OR) – Gigantic Brewing only makes one year-round and that’s Gigantic IPA. Everything else is a seasonal that is never repeated again. Taking its name from a Velvet Underground classic Gigantic White Light White Heat is a dangerously drinkable 8.2& ABV Belgian White IPA and it’s available now through July.

Inspired by a Kombucha drink, this limited edition ale is fermented at slightly higher temperature than normal – with Blueberries and local Honey added at conditioning along with a cold side infusion of a “mint tea.”

Drafted (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas has just introduced the third beer in its draft-only, Desert Island Series – a program that features “one-time” releases of beers designed by individual members of the Heavy Seas brewing team. Heavy Seas American Honey Amber Ale is a 4.9% ABV limited release brewed with local Virginia barley and a touch of Bamboo honey.  Each beer in the series is limited to only 100 barrels available at select locations – so you know what to do.
