, Newbies – New Craft Beer Releases That You Want to Look Out For – April 8, 2014Showing Some Hoptitude (Fort Collins, CO) – The Fort Collins Brewery is releasing a new seasonal just timed to coincide with this week’s Craft Brewers Conference. FCB Hoptitude is a 7.5% ABV Imperial Extra Pale Ale brewed with Pacifica hops from New Zealand. “We couldn’t think of a better time or way to release Hoptitude, a craft brew, than in association with the Craft Brewer’s Conference and a week-long bash,” said Kaylee Kulich, FCB’s Marketing and PR Coordinator

Luminosity Sours (Ithaca, NY) – The Ithaca Beer Company will be releasing something wild at their brewery on April 16th – so you want to be ready for it. Part of their Excelior! Series, Luminous Golden Wild Ale is a Sour Ale brewed with wheat and aged NYS hops and fermented for over a year.

, Newbies – New Craft Beer Releases That You Want to Look Out For – April 8, 2014Minted (Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog just released the latest beer from their Brewhouse Rarities Series and we can’t wait to get our hands on one. Flying Dog Brewhouse Rarities Mint Chocolate Stout is a medium-bodied, low ABV dessert beer that you can actually have more than one of! The yeast strain was selected for its creaminess and the cocoa and peppermint were post-fermentation to ensure that it’s minty but not too sweet.

Bottled Superfluid (Bellaire, MI) – Short’s Brewing Company is bottling something super for the first time. Short’s Superfluid is a massive 8% ABV American Double IPA that was first brewed in 2013 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Clean Water Act. Short’s is Northern Michigan’s largest craft brewery and a member of the Natural Resource Defense Council’s Brewers for Clean Water Campaign. This is the second consecutive year that they are tying a water issue to the brewing of Superfluid.

, Newbies – New Craft Beer Releases That You Want to Look Out For – April 8, 2014Going for the Gold (Portland, OR) – Breakside Brewery is releasing their lightest and hoppiest Double IPA to date and we’re excited they have. Originally released in 2013 as a limited, draft-only special collaboration with Ninkasi Brewing, the 8.1% ABV Breakside India Golden Ale (IGA) will be bottled for a first time, limited run beginning today. Light in body and even lighter in color, IGA is a showcase of Eldorado and Mosaic hops – and it’s out there now – so you know what to do.
