So many beers- So little time… Summer defines this week’s newbies and it’s just in time for the upcoming 4th of July celebrations…Plus we’ve some new releases from Elevation and Bear Republic that sound serious as well.

A Stage Dive into a Mosh Pit of Hops (Escondido, CA) – That’s one way that Stone’s Greg Koch describes their newest release and he may be right. Without any regard for a civil society, unapologetically amps Ruination’s recipe up to 11. Originally released to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Stone Ruination IPA, this splendorous, 10.8%, hop-heavy gem debuted in June 2012 as Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA and fast became an early July staple. Built to sate the appetites of the highest order of hop fanatics, this Triple IPA is out there now – so it is on!

Love Is A Rose (Santa Rosa Beach, FL) – Grayton Beer has a new low country warm weather release that takes its inspiration from the famous Neil Young song. Grayton Handful of Thorns is a 6.7% IPA that’s brewed using fresh rose petals and it’s available now on draft as well as in 12oz bottles.

Racing Season (Sonoma County, CA) – Bear Republic is returning a popular seasonal- but you’d better be on top of this one, because it’s a very limited release. Bear Republic Café Racer 15 is a massive 9.75% Double IPA that’s hopped out of its mind with Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Chinook hops – so you’ve been warned.

Princess Yum Yum (Denver, Co) – In a beer city like Denver, you have to be good to be noticed and the Denver Beer Company has summer release that worth your attention. Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kölsch is a 4.8% ruby-red dry and tart pleaser that’s brewed with real raspberries.

May The Hops Be With You (Poncho Springs, Co) – Elevation Beer Company has a new Double Black Series summer seasonal that you might want to chase down. Fanboy is an 8.5% Double IPA that’s been barrel-aged in ne American Oak – and is available now on draft as well as in 750mls bottles
