, Newbies – 5 New Craft Beers You Need To Check OutLemon & Grassy (San Marcos, CA) – Port Brewing /The Lost Abby’s newest division The Hop Concept is releasing the third beer from their Hop Freshener Series this week – so be ready. The Hop Concept’s Lemon & Grassy is their ode to summer – an 8.5% IPA that’s brewed with Galena, Brewers Gold, Comet, Sorachi Ace and Nelson hops – and freshened with Lemon zest.

A Celebration Libation (Boulder, CO) – Avery will be celebrating their 22 years in the biz with a party (August 8th 4-8pm) at their new brewery – and a special new beer. Avery Twenty Two 100% Brettanomyces drie Fermented Dry-Hopped Wild Ale.

, Newbies – 5 New Craft Beers You Need To Check OutSweet 21 (Denver, CO) – Great Divide has just bottled their first Sour to commemorate their recent anniversary. Great Divide 21st Anniversary Sour is a 6.2% Wild Ale with bright, tart kiwi and citrus tones. Soured with Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces and aged for 9 months in wine barrels, this special edition Sour is available now in 750 ml bottles.

There’s Nothing Like A Pumpkin Ale In August (Seattle, WA) – Elysian is known for their pumpkin beers (they’ve four already scheduled through October) and it stand stands to reason that we’d be seeing some of them soon. Elysian Night Owl a 6.7% pumpkin-pumped ale is the first in this series and just in time for your late summer barbeques.

, Newbies – 5 New Craft Beers You Need To Check OutQuadrophenia (Denver, Co) – After stashing it away for nearly a year and a half, River North Brewery will be releasing something insanely special at their taproom this Saturday, August 1st. 15 months in the making, River North’s Quad XO, is a massive Abbey-style Quadrupel Ale that’s been aged in Chardonnay barrels. It’s a very limited release (only 135 cases bottled) – so you’ve been warned.
