Dangerous Hopheads Rejoice (Escondido, CA) – Stone is returning their infamous Triple IPA that’s been described as a “stage dive into a mosh pit of hops.” Stone RuinTen Triple IPA cranked-up 10.8% ABV version of Stone Ruination Double IPA 2.0, introduced by the brewery in 2012, to honor the original’s 10th anniversary.
Tart 10 Funk Fest (Downingtown, PA) – Victory Brewing has a new seasonal that melds the dynamics of the traditional Belgian Dubbel with the wild wonder of Brettanomyces. Making a tarty yet tasty 10% ABV debut, Victory Tart Ten Dubbel Ale is a zingy combination of Pilsner and Caramel Malts, Czech Saaz hops and Brettanomyces yeast.
Pride Runs Deep (Longmont, CO) – Left Hand Brewing has a new addition to their Big Mo Series that’s scheduled for release at the end of this month. Brewed to honor the legendary attack sub and the 134 officers and crew members of the USS Colorado, and to support its organization, Left Hand’s Pride Runs Deep IPA is 6.8% ABV India Pale Ale that’s worthy on every level.
Recasting A Classic II (Paso Robles, CA) – As we mentioned in last Tuesday’s Newbies, Firestone Walker is introducing a new “draft-only” nitro-powered variation to their traditional English oaked bitter, DBA, but they’re not done. As part of their 20th anniversary celebration they’re also releasing another variant that sounds intriguing. Firestone Walker UDBA is the unfiltered, oak barrel fermented version of their classic that was first introduced in 1996.
New Beer Exposed (St Louis, MO) – Schlafly Beer has a new St Louis-only release that’s named as a tribute to the city’s World’s Fair Exposition in 1904. Brewed using eight hop varieties that were shipped in from three continents, Schlafly Expo IPA is a 6.5% ABV refresher, that’s bold, yet balanced.
