, Newbies – 5 Craft Beer Seasonals That You Need To Check OutDogfish Head Celebrates Their 20th Anniversary (Milton, DE) – And as part of that celebration, Dogfish Head will be releasing several limited edition beers this winter. Kicking things off is Dogfish’s birthday beer, Higher Math, a Golden Strong Ale fermented with sour cherry juice and cocoa nibs. You’ve got to love that this was the first beer that Sam Calagione created in his NYC apartment back in early 1990s. And even back then his first beer clocked in at a massive 17% ABV! 

Night Ryder (Paso Robles, CA) – It takes deadly confidence to start a brewery in the town that Firestone Walker calls home BarrelHouse Brewing is just that sure about their latest Forager Series release. Clocking in at an unapologetic 8.3% ABV, Night Ryder is a richly malted and aggressively hopped Black Rye IPA with swagger to spare.

, Newbies – 5 Craft Beer Seasonals That You Need To Check OutDog Daze (San Francisco, CA) – Almanac Beer Company has a new Imperial version of their popular Dogpatch Sour Ale that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Almanac Dogpatch Grand Cru is blend, of a Flanders Red-style Sour Ale with red wine grapes that they’ve blended with a special imperial edition of their Dogpatch Sour that was aged in wine barrels with cherries. Yikes!

Wintering Down (South Burlington, VT) – Magic Hat Brewing has two special cold-weather seasonals that are only available in their Winterland Variety Packs. Magic Hat’s Vinyl is an artfully packaged 5.1% Amber Lager that they brewed using Columbus, Northern Brewer hops.  Winter Mingle is a 5.8% English-style Stout that’s brewed with Tahitian Vanilla.

, Newbies – 5 Craft Beer Seasonals That You Need To Check OutSteve Austin Breaks A Skull (El Segundo, CA) – World Wide Wrestling’s Steve Austin is releasing a beer with California-based El Segundo Brewing that they describe as a “skull crusher.” Brewed with Cascade, Citra and Chinook hops, El Segundo Broken Skull IPA is 6.7% “bad-ass” India Pale Ale with a bone-dry finish.
