Craft Beer Super-Group “The Gourdians” rock the 2012 Craft Brewers Conference!

ruin10-front1A surprise performance by legendary craft beer rockers "The Gourdians" notably ended this year's 2012 Craft Brewers Conference. After years of touring together, the group had grown apart - and they had pledged that they'd never perform together again.

Dave Buhler, who now performs with Elysian Brewing, has said on several occasions that he'd never get back together with the guys and that Marty Jones, who now plays with Wynkoop, has not returned his calls for years . . . Greg Koch, who now plays with Stone, has been quoted as saying "The Gourdians are the past - I'm all about the future." Greg's currently involved in re-mastering his classic Stone Ruination Solo project for a special 10th Anniversary Release, but as usual, he was unavailable for comment.

The audience exploded with enthusiastic disbelief when The Gourdians hit the stage. And as the room erupted to the thunderous opening chords of their rock classic "Enter Beer Man," they were joined onstage by very special guest Kerri Kelli, lead guitarist for Alice Cooper!

It's not known if this appearance means that the band will be getting back together again or that there might be a tour in the future. "We're all involved in other projects," Marty Jones was heard to say backstage after the performance, "but it was fun getting onstage with the guys again and it's good that we're all talking."
