Beer festivals can be a bit overwhelming: a lot to choose from, a lot of people, and not a lot of space. The Portland International BeerFest was not one of those. Don’t get us wrong, there were a lot of choices, but at no point did it feel overwhelming to the group of 8 that ACB brought along.

IPA Day 2012

National India Pale Ale day is coming up this week on Thursday. For some reason, whoever picks these National XYZ Celebration Days decided that it was a good idea to have IPA Day on a Thursday. Well it must correspond with a certain date, like maybe its August 2nd every year, you must be asking yourself. Nope. It is scheduled for the first Thursday in August.
